It has been estimated that there are over 90 million used mobile phones lying around people's homes in the UK alone. To put this into perspective, these would fill the Millenium Dome 84 times over.

Research has shown that, until recently, there was no easy way that mobile phone users could dispose of unwanted phones safely, ultimately leading to most ending up in landfill sites where they cause toxic contamination.

Here at Interchange Group we make it easy for you and your company to safely recycle your mobile phones with our Corporate Recycling Package that we supply free of charge upon registration. All makes of digital mobile phone are accepted, and on bulk donations we will pay an agreed amount per phone. The value of a phone does, however, depend on make and model, condition and accessories included, and demand fluctuates daily.

On receipt of your phones, each mobile is checked for damage and tested. Those suitable are then refurbished and sold in developing countries, helping bridge the digital divide. Phones that cannot be reused are recycled in accordance with the terms and conditions of current EU legislation.
